New media collaborations let students deliver story in new ways
The evolution of journalism and “new media” practices is giving rise to revolutionary ideas produced by students.
A panel of five professors showed media and new technology collaborations Wednesday afternoon to an audience of AEJMC conference participants. Despite many believing that journalism is in a state of 911, the workshop, The New Convergence: Innovations in Industry and Academic Collaborations, showed how this technology is leading to fresh student ideas.
