Stories of Arizona’s Tribal Libraries: An Oral History Project

SIRLS and the Knowledge River (KR) Program are partnering with tribal libraries in Arizona to begin collecting the unique histories of Arizona’s tribal libraries through personal stories told by tribal librarians themselves as well as key community members.  This oral history project directly addresses the need to capture the history and development of tribal libraries while also demonstrating that these libraries are indeed a vital and valuable part of the community and the state of Arizona. more…
