Oral History Fair draws more than 1,000

The history of the Valley was on display in the gymnasium and cafeteria areas of Harlan Rowe Junior High School Wednesday as the school held its 11th Annual Oral History Fair with approximately 170 students participating in the event and more than 1,000 visitors on hand to view the projects.
The idea for the oral history fair was created through Harlan Rowe English instructor Dick Heyler’s experiences at the Governor’s Institute for Language Arts Educators back in 1998.
