ALA Annual 2011: AASL Unveils the Top 25 Websites for Teaching, Learning

The American Association of School Librarians (AASL) unveiled the Top 25 Websites for Teaching and Learning during the American Library Association’s (ALA) annual conference in New Orleans. Although I’ve posted quite a few of these lists on my blog, I think each list is developed from a unique perspective.

The list honors the top Internet sites for enhancing learning and curriculum development for school librarians and their teacher collaborators-and were named because they foster innovation, creativity, active participation, and collaboration The list is considered the “best of the best” by AASL and is comprised of free, user-friendly sites that encourage a community of learners to explore and discover.
