Digital Storytelling in the classroom

Microsoft Education has some nice resources [via Bernard Robin, University of Houston, The Educational Uses of Digital Storytelling, blog] for teachers who would like to  use digital storytelling in the classroom.

According to Microsoft, “when students create a movie or interactive slide show to tell their story, learning becomes personal. Students can improve their writing, show creativity, and have a voice”

The resources include:

  • samples of an evaluation rubric
  • storyboard template
  • a pdf on creating your storyboard, and More…
