American Indian Educational Resources List

Debbie Reese has worked tirelessly to expose children’s books that promote stereotypes about American Indians and has developed a website that provides a host of resources for educators.  According to Reese’s site, American Indians in Children’s Literature (AICL) provides critical perspectives and analysis of indigenous peoples in children’s and young adult books, the school curriculum, popular culture, and society. Scroll down for links to book reviews, Native media, and more…  Reese’s website includes many links and resources and is well worth a look!

University of Arizona has an excellent website devoted to Techniques for Evaluating American Indian Websites.
